One Household, One View: Consolidating Family Accounts for Financial Advisors

In short: Wealthstack brings a household's accounts into one dashboard, with each spouse's portfolio linked in their own name. Managed portfolios can be linked at onboarding or any time later, and multi-currency support helps families with assets in more than one country.
Financial plans are usually built for a household. The accounts behind them aren't.
One spouse has an RRSP and a TFSA at one institution. The other has a group plan through work and an investment you manage. Some accounts arrive through your data feeds, others don't, and trying to show a couple their combined picture often means building it by hand.
Wealthstack is designed to bring a household into one view, and to keep it accurate as the relationship grows.
Why does a household view matter?
Because couples make decisions together. Retirement dates, a home purchase, protecting the children: these are shared goals, even when the accounts are held separately.
When both partners can see the same picture, conversations get easier. Nobody is guessing what the other one holds.
Linking portfolios to the plan, at any stage
Relationships don't always start with managed assets. Often you build a plan first, and the portfolios follow later.
Wealthstack handles that sequence so when new portfolios start coming through your data feeds for a client who already has a dashboard, you link them from the Client Onboarding page in the Advisor Console. Select the portfolio, choose the right client's dashboard, and the account data flows straight in.
It works the same way whether you're linking at onboarding or months afterwards.
Each spouse's accounts, clearly attributed
A family dashboard still needs to show whose account is whose.
In Wealthstack, each spouse can have their portfolio linked to the family dashboard in their own name. On the dashboard, the accounts appear together but stay clearly attributed, one for each partner.
The family structure tab records how the household is set up, and goals created for one spouse can be shared so the other can see them on their own login too.
Helpful for cross-border families
Wealthstack supports multiple currencies, which helps when a household holds assets in more than one country. That's common for families who have moved to Canada from South Africa, for example, and still have investments or retirement funds back home.

If your clients' household picture is currently held together by spreadsheets, we'd be glad to show you the Wealthstack way.
